The city of Igonvale rests on the western coast of lake Igon, near the south west coast of Kirimish and near the coastal mountain range. The lake itself is fed by mountain streams and rivers. Igonvale often finds itself in conflict with the nearest city, Tayport, competing for trade and importance in the surrounding area.

After the assassination of empress Brekhan and both Tayport and Arabar broke away from the empire, Igonvale remained loyal but reserved. It has maintained tense diplomatic relationships with Tayport, and refused any offer to join the growing kingdom of The Free Cities of Tayport.
